What is Boditude?

Boditude is an online program created to help you find gratitude for all aspects of your life through a series of carefully cultivated positive psychology, health, and wellness techniques. Each section has a theme in which the day’s topic will follow. Each day brings a new focus on a specific aspect of your life to be grateful for. You will be a part of a supportive, accepting environment and have the opportunity to meet and talk with like-minded individuals.

 

Everyday you will build and work towards becoming a grateful person who looks at life in a newer, positive way. You will see incredible changes within yourself, the way you think, and the way you perceive everything in your life.

How does Boditude actually work?

When you join Boditude, you will be added to a Boditude session. Every day there will be a new post about a different topic that relates to the section’s theme. Along with the post, there will be 3-5 exercises/questions for you to actually participate and engage in. After reading the post, you apply and practice what you read by answering the daily exercises/questions.

 

You will be practicing positive psychology techniques, gratitude strategies, and wellness approaches on a daily basis to transform you into a happier, more grateful and positive person for your body, life, and everything in between. Boditude has the potential to truly change your life and transform you as a person.

What is the purpose of Boditude?

The purpose of Boditude is to shift your perspective so that you are able to embrace a positive state of mind that focuses on what is going right and seeing the beauty in life. It is human nature to focus on the negative. Therefore, Boditude’s purpose is to shift that knee-jerk reaction through mindfulness, gratitude, and positive psychology.

By the end of the program, you will learn to love, appreciate, and nurture your body and life the way they’re supposed to be loved, appreciated, and nurtured!

What can I expect each week?

Section One – Everything in Between: During the first section, you will set goals and a vision statement for yourself that you want to accomplish by the end of the program. During this segment, you will engage in exercises to practice gratitude for your family, friends, and your house. You will come to appreciate the beauty of nature and the planet you live on. Your health and the food you eat will be topics you explore and gain a greater appreciation for. Finally, at the end of the first and every section to follow, you will reflect back on what you learned, challenges you faced, and insights you had..

 

Section Two – Body: The second section is dedicated to not only being grateful for the body you have, but learning to accept everything that it is. You will learn to look past your imperfections and focus on your perfections. You will come to realize how much your body does for you every single day, the connection between your mind and body, and why treating yourself with respect and love will make you a happier, more accepting person. Whatever view you currently have about your body will improve and you will have a deeper connection, understanding, and appreciation for the person you are.

 

Section Three – Life: The third section is meant to build upon the skills, thoughts, and techniques you’ve acquired thus far. Section three focuses on your life. Each day you will be exposed to a different topic that make for a successful, joyful life. Your perspective, thoughts, and feelings will determine your actions in any situation or circumstance. Therefore, during the third portion of Boditude, you will not only become aware of your daily thoughts and perspectives, but learn how to improve and enhance them to feel fulfilled, content, and thankful every single day.

What is a Private Session?

The one-on-one Boditude session and coaching are private sessions with Larisa as your Positive Psychology coach/specialist. You will be in a private Boditude group where you will receive a new topic everyday with questions and exercises to answer. Larisa will work one-on-one with you by commenting back and engaging you further. In addition, you will set up weekly coaching calls to set goals, succeed at what you want to accomplish, and live the life you want to live. Larisa will be your Positive Psychology coach in which she will get you from where you are now to where you want to be by integrating Positive Psychology components to increase positivity, gratitude, and happiness in your everyday life.

What is the difference between group and private sessions?

Group Session:

  • You will be part of the Boditude session with other participants.
  • Meet like-minded individuals and develop connections.
  • Receive a topic of the day and questions/exercises for you to engage in and reflect upon.
  • Increase positivity, gratitude, and happiness in daily life.

Private Session:

  • You will be part of an exclusive and private Boditude group between you and Larisa.
  • Receive a topic of the day and questions/exercises for you to engage in and reflect upon.
  • Larisa will be your private Positive Psychology coach working with you on a weekly basis to achieve your utmost goals, desires, and dreams.
  • You will get from where you are now to where you want to be.
  • Increase gratitude, positivity, and overall happiness in your daily life and continue to practice positive psychology exercises, techniques, and assessments.
What should I expect from a private session?

The private session will be similar to the group Boditude session in that the topic of days and questions/exercises will be alike. You will be engaging in topics relating to being grateful for your body, life, and everything in between. However, the private sessions offer you an exclusive one-on-one Boditude group that is all yours. In addition, Larisa will be your private Positive Psychology coach where she will guide you to set and achieve goals, increase positivity into your daily life, and get you to live a happier, more fulfilled life.

What benefits will I see from the private sessions

The private Boditude sessions are extremely beneficial because you are not only going to be practicing being a more positive and grateful person in Boditude, but you will be actively working on achieving your own goals related to your happiness. Therefore, the benefits you will receive from the private sessions include:

  • Become a happier, more positive & grateful person for everything you have in your life.
  • Think and act more positive and grateful on a daily basis.
  • Be more accepting of who you are and the body that you have.

What is the Boditude Box?

The Boditude Box is the prize that the Boditude Winner receives. Throughout Boditude, the participants receive points for participating in the group including:

  • Answering the daily posts
  • Commenting on other people’s posts
  • Posting pictures
  • Posting pictures on Instagram and tagging friends

At the end of Boditude, the participant with the most points wins the Boditude Box.

How do I receive SMS notifications from Boditude?

Boditude offers SMS notifications for those participating in Boditude. Once you subscribe to the SMS Notification service, you’ll receive text messages throughout your Boditude session. You’ll be notified whenever Larisa publishes a Group Post, and when another group member replies to one of your comments. To Sign up for SMS Notification, follow these steps:

  1. Visit your Account Page and log in if you haven’t already.
  2. Complete the SMS Notification subscription form. You will need your mobile phone handy to receive a confirmation code, which will be sent to you as part of the registration process.
  3. You’ll receive a text message confirmation when your SMS Notification registration is complete.

Note that you can sign up for SMS Notifications even if you are not currently enrolled in a group, but you’ll only receive text messages once you’re in an active group.
