Just Do It: How to Manage Time and Stop Procrastinating

We all know how it feels to dread a task and the temporary joy that comes from procrastinating. But procrastination is the enemy of persistence – it prevents you from doing what you need to do. Procrastinating prohibits us from enjoying the feelings of pride and accomplishment. It can cause extreme frustration, guilt, and even shame, to the point where you’re screaming at yourself to “just do it already!”

Procrastination can be caused by a multitude of reasons. It’s important to identify what’s causing you to procrastinate so that you can snap out of it and get your task done!

Nowadays, we are constantly exposed to content that encourages us to change ourselves physically and mentally. These messages are unavoidable, appearing daily in magazines, TV, books, commercials, etc.

 

It can be hard to accept ourselves for who we are, when we are constantly being bombarded by what society portrays as what we should look, act, and feel like.
